  Our GA meeting is scheduled for Sunday March 14th, inshaa Allah. This is the tentative agenda for the meeting along with some meeting instructions. Please remember that the daylight saving time starts on that day. If you need to add items to the agenda, just add them as a comment to this post.

• People start gathering at in the MAS office at 6:15pm
• The meeting will officially start at 6:30pm, sharp inshaa Allah. It will become a legal meeting at that time with any number of people present
• A large number of people are expected to attend, so it is important to organize the meeting so that everyone can be heard:
  • Please raise your hand to speak
  • Please keep all comments to within two minutes
  • When given the floor, use the opportunity to demonstrate Islamic manners of discussion
  • When asked to conclude, please conclude immediately
  • At most two people will have the floor at a given time, a presenter and a questioner
• The timing of agenda item times is flexible, subject to the pace of the meeting
• Less time was allocated for the EC report this time because the report was presented in our last meeting; we can allocate more time to it when we review the agenda
• If at the end of the meeting there are agenda items that are not concluded, they are tabled for the next GA meeting
• The meeting will conclude at 9:30pm inshaa Allah
